美敦力中国

1989年，美敦力在中国设立第一个办事处。1996年，美敦力在中国上海正式落户。目前，美敦力在中国14个城市设有办公室，拥有1个研发中心，1个医疗创新中心，4大生产基地，超过 5000名员工。

o   引入全球创新科技，改善中国慢病和重大疾病的治疗效果

自2001年起，美敦力已向中国市场引入超过500种创新产品，包括用于房颤治疗的冷冻消融技术、提高肺癌早期诊断率的电磁导航支气管镜、用于缺血性脑卒中治疗的取栓机械支架、强化糖尿病个体化治疗的动态血糖监测系统等。目前，被誉为“全球最小的心脏起搏器”Micra^TM，已在中国进入“创新产品特别审批程序” 。

位于上海的美敦力中国研发中心是除美敦力美国本土外规模最大的综合性研发中心，拥有近300位研发和管理人才。研发中心覆盖的疾病领域包括肝癌、胃癌、肺癌、糖尿病、终末期肾病、脑卒中等本土高发疾病。至今，美敦力中国研发中心已经成功研发25个创新产品，其中23个成功上市，18个远销海外。
